Do not mix the old annuity rates with the new scheme
GOSI’s new scheme applies from 3 July 2024 to people with no prior contribution period. Annuities phase up to 11% on the worker and 11% on the employer, with the first step on 1 July 2025. Existing contributors stay on 9% and 9% per GOSI’s FAQ. SANED is 0.75% each side; occupational hazards are 2% on the employer. Non-Saudis are covered for occupational hazards. The calculator is an estimate, not a contribution notice.

The contributory wage is not every allowance
GOSI’s FAQ sets an annuities floor of SAR 1,500 and a ceiling of SAR 45,000. Fawtar takes basic salary plus housing as the wage, and leaves transport out of that wage. The calculator’s 1,500–45,000 bounds are an estimate. Check your establishment on GOSI’s site.
The calculator year is not the legal cutover
Official texts tie the first increase to 1 July 2025, then a yearly phase-in. The calculator asks for a calendar year as an estimate. Do not use it to pick the cutover month; check GOSI.
What Fawtar does here
The calculator runs in the browser and does not store the wage. Payroll on Business freezes that month’s figures as calculated and does not reprice a month already paid. Fawtar is not an HRIS and not GOSI’s portal.

How do I know which scheme applies?
GOSI’s awareness page: the new scheme is for people with no contribution period before 3 July 2024. If you were already a contributor, you stay on the prior scheme unless GOSI says otherwise.
Is the calculator result a GOSI notice?
No. It is a reading estimate. Registration and payment run through GOSI’s channels.
