No. The till issues a simplified tax invoice. A sale to a VAT-registered firm usually needs a tax invoice from the invoice path.

Is Fawtar POS a full retail stack?

No. It covers a simplified invoice, stock deduction on the linked branch, and a cash-drawer shift. It is not loyalty, weigh-scale, or a restaurant kitchen display.

Each sale is a simplified tax invoice, not a drawer note

Business plan: scan or tap items, take cash or card, deduct branch stock, close the shift. Phase 1 QR is on the simplified invoice. Phase 2 is not described as approved.

A Phase 2 integration path exists on the Business plan: device onboarding with a Fatoora OTP, simplified-invoice signing, and Reporting/Clearance routes. As of 29 August 2026 no customer has completed production onboarding end to end, and Fawtar is not described as a ZATCA-approved or listed solution.

Close the shift against counted cash. A wholesale buyer still needs the tax-invoice path.
