Which invoice the software creates
The free generator asks which document you are issuing. The file matches that choice. It does not decide your tax status for you.
- Ordinary invoice. For a seller who is not VAT-registered. No VAT, no VAT number, and no QR code.
- Simplified tax invoice. For a VAT-registered seller and a buyer who does not need a full tax invoice. Prices start inclusive of 15% VAT, the buyer can be omitted, and the PDF includes the QR code.
- Tax invoice. For a VAT-registered seller and a business buyer. The buyer's name and address are required, prices start exclusive of VAT, and the PDF includes the QR code.
The downloaded PDF is the document you send. Sequential numbering, a no-delete rule, and an archive live in the account, not in the file alone. PDF export from the public generator needs a free account (no card, 3 PDFs a month with a Fawtar footer); Pro removes the footer and the limit. After sign-in, your account shows any eligible Pro evaluation, its duration and payment terms. Phase 2 reporting is a Business-plan path and is not started from the generator.
