Notice: Rates and limits are set by GOSI and may change. Contributions depend on the employee's scheme and joining date. Use this figure for planning only and verify the actual amount in your business's GOSI account.

Who pays what?
Rates and limits are set by General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) and may change. Verify the actual amount through your business account before using it in payroll. GOSI contributions differ from the end-of-service award. When employment ends, use the End-of-service award calculator.

What are Saudi GOSI contribution rates?
For a Saudi employee under the previous scheme: 9% annuities each for employee and employer, plus 0.75% SANED each and 2% occupational hazards paid by the employer only. That is a 9.75% employee deduction and 11.75% employer contribution.
How does the updated scheme differ for new contributors?
Annuity contributions for new contributors increase gradually by half a percentage point annually for both employee and employer until reaching 11%. The calculator therefore asks for scheme and year.
Is anything deducted from a non-Saudi employee?
No. Only occupational hazards at 2% applies here, paid entirely by the employer, with no employee wage deduction for this purpose.
Which wage is used for contributions?
The contribution wage is basic salary plus housing allowance, within GOSI's minimum and maximum limits. Values outside the range use the applicable limit instead of the actual wage.
