Fawtar or Zoho Books?

Zoho Books has a lower SAR entry price, a real free plan, and Phase 2 from Standard. Fawtar is clearer as an Arabic invoice and daily collections product, but it bills USD via PayPal and the trial needs a card.

Fawtar at fawtar.app is an independent Saudi product. It is not ZATCA’s Fatoora platform, not Fatoora.app, not Oman’s Fawtara programme, and not Jordanian Fawtara products. Fawtar publishes this page. Last verified 2026-08-29.

Where Fawtar is clearer

  • Arabic invoice with no account, and a hard split between ordinary and tax invoices.
  • Collections: payment requests, transfer proofs, daily queue.
  • GOSI payroll and WPS inside the product, not a sibling SKU.

Where the other side is stronger

  • SAR prices and a perpetual free plan.
  • Phase 2 from Standard, plus native apps.
  • Zoho ecosystem for advanced inventory and analytics on higher plans.
